Before You Register

Before You Register...

Registration for 2023 Annual Session (for both in-person and online attendees) is open until June 25th.

No registrations will be accepted after this date.

We recommend you read through the following information before beginning your Registration:

Registration is all-Online

All registration must be done online here by June 25th. There is no paper registration form. If you cannot complete your registration online, contact someone who has computer access to help you. If necessary you can contact the Registrar at registrar@npym.org to help complete the form.

In-Person or Online?

For each member of your household, you will select whether they are registering to attend online or in-person. If you plan to attend any portion of Annual Session in person, then please select "In-Person." If you register for In-Person, you will still receive links to attend events by Zoom if you choose. More information about Online Annual Session is here.

Register for your Household Together

You can register attendees from the same household together; remember to enter your information first and then click the "add attendee" button. We assume (unless instructed otherwise) that attendees registered together wish to room together. We recommend registering Friends from different households separately.

Resuming Registration and Making Changes

When using the online registration form, you may save and resume your registration by clicking the "Save" button located on the bottom right side of the form. You will then receive a link that will allow you to come back and finish. Your Registration will not be received until you click the "Submit" button. If you need to make changes or cancel your registration after it has been submitted, contact the Registrar at registrar@npym.org.

Costs & Payment

NPYM practices abundant financing, and Annual Session is entirely "Pay As Led." During your registration, you will be shown a "Recommended Fee" based on the costs to NPYM for your attendance. You will then choose what you are led to pay for your Registration, which can be any amount (including $0). Paying more than your Recommended Fee is welcome, as this will help us provide abundant financing. Click here to read more about the costs to attend and abundant financing.

We ask Friends to pay their registration fees by PayPal whenever possible -- this reduces the burden on NPYM staff. You do not need to have a PayPal account, just a credit card. Otherwise, payment by check made out to "NPYM" is accepted, by mail for Online attendees or in-person at check-in for those attending in-person.

Information Needed

For each attendee coming in-person, you will need to provide:

  • Lodging & Meal Choices (more info here)
  • Worship Group Choices (more info here)
  • Volunteer Job Choices (more info here)
  • You will also be asked for any transportation needs, emergency contacts, and any accessibility or other needs.
  • Youth attendees will select their activity group (more info here) and provide information to share with the Youth Program Coordinator. For any children not attending with a parent or guardian, we will need their parent or guardian's contact information, as well as information about their sponsors who will attend with them.

Building our Beloved Community at Annual Session

NPYM continues to live into our commitment to uprooting racism and embracing inclusivity by learning, sharing, interrupting harm, and responding to harm with care. The 2023 Care Committee is assessing the Ouch/Whoa/Oops process from 2022 and will email Friends before AS about this year's approach.

COVID Safety Requirements

All Friends attending in person will be asked to affirm that they will comply with the listed COVID safety requirements. This year, we will require vaccination (but will trust Friends' words and not require proof) and masking, and we recommend testing on arrival.  Click here to read more about our COVID safety plan.
